According to TMZ, the 18-year-old was drunk and fighting with friends at a California pizza joint at a mall in Naples, FL.
Police officers were called to the restaurant after receiving a report of a drunk man hitting his friends. When they arrived, officers said a 15-year-old boy told them he was friends with Ryan, but they got into an argument that resulted in Ryan getting up, aggressively pushing against their table and the boy’s friend shouting Arrest report yelled at received by TMZ.
Ryan reportedly interrupted his friend’s conversation with the police and started arguing with him. When asked to step down, Ryan continued to argue with the boy until the cops got him to calm down. When they told him he would have to be escorted off the property, police said Ryan had become aggressive again and started waving his arms and yelling while trying to get close to his friend again. The cops said they had to put their hands on Ryan’s chest to stop him, but Ryan kept screaming and removed the officers’ hands from his chest.
When they tried to arrest him, the officers claimed Ryan resisted, so they forced him to the ground, where he continued to resist until he put his hands behind his back and was handcuffed. According to TMZ, Ryan was taken to the Naples Jail Center and charged with a felony against a police officer and two misdemeanors: resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.
