A heroic Hollywood restaurant owner chased and dramatically coerced a homeless bastard who beat an elderly man before stealing his wallet and phone.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, was sitting outside a restaurant complex enjoying a meal of Raffallo’s Pizza in Los Angeles on August 1 when the homeless man suddenly punched him in the face and ribs, security footage shows demonstrate.
Nearby, Japanese kitchen owner Shin was eating with his girlfriend when he witnessed the altercation and rushed to chase the man down.
“We were shocked that it happened and then I ran after him,” Shin owner Tim Ratcliff told . “As I turned the corner, he turned around and the jerk hit me.”
“I grabbed him to the ground and held him there until the police arrived.”

The fight between Ratcliff and the homeless man unfolded on the sidewalk at the intersection of La Brea and Hollywood.
Ratcliff immediately brought the unknown thief to the ground while his girlfriend rushed to the rescue. She then trampled on the homeless man before collecting the elderly man’s phone and wallet and handing them back to him.

The homeless man is seen with his face bloodied as he tries to escape from Ratcliff’s grasp while aimlessly reaching out to bite his arm.
Passers-by walked and drove by with their cellphone cameras until police arrived minutes later.
Ratcliff says the older man suffered bruises and was taken to hospital. The brave restaurant owner will appear in court on August 16 to testify.
“Hopefully everything goes well and he stays in prison for a long time,” Ratcliff said.

The girlfriend then quickly retrieved the older man’s phone and wallet and returned them to him. The police arrived minutes later
The August 1 attack on the elderly man came a few months after an Olympic silver medalist was attacked by a homeless man with a metal pole in Los Angeles in July.

Glass shared how she left lunch and said goodbye to her friends before the horrific attack.
She said the “homeless man ran up, he had something in his hand and he was on the other side of a car on the street.”
The Sports Illustrated model and star of the US women’s volleyball team said the attacker looked at her “with some pretty hateful eyes.”
Glass said she was about to reach out to her friend to say she thought something was wrong with him and that he might hit a car.
She continued, “Before I knew it, a big metal bolt, like a pipe, hit me… it went so fast. He literally threw it off the street.’
Glass later said she was fine after having stitches, but there would be no permanent damage to her vision.

A second attempt to recall the woke district attorney failed after 195,783 of the more than 700,000 signatures filed were invalid, the Los Angeles Registrar County Office said Monday.
The petition required 566,857 valid signatures, but only 520,050 were found valid.
