To that we say – YES. Jordan Peele’s recent horror hit Nope and his 2019 Chiller Us will cross over as part of Universal Studios’ seasonal attraction Terror Tram at Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, California.

Sounds like Universal is more than excited to instill fear in its visitors, according to a press release: “The ‘Terror Tram’ is unique to Universal Studios Hollywood and invites guests to explore parts of the famous film studio on foot to see some of the most notorious.” film sets. As soon as the guests get off the tram, the terror is unleashed. This year, villainous Hollywood Harry unveils Hollywood Harry’s Halloween, a nightmarish spectacle with an insane cast of characters that meanders past the legendary Psycho House and then through Steven Spielberg’s set of War of the Worlds. As guests weave their way through a choreographed massacre on Nope’s Jupiter’s Claim set, they will meet the Tethered of Us in a chilling finale of epic proportions.”

That sounds absolutely excellent (read all about io9’s visit to the Jupiter’s Claim set here), but we have a small gripe: Where’s Candyman?! The Peele-produced Nia DaCosta film brought us a thoughtful and unsettling reimagining of the legend, and we’d really like to see it lurking around as well. Maybe if we say his name five times…

But even without Candyman, many more horrors await. Cinematic thrills also include The Horrors of Blumhouse, which will star the chilling villains from The Black Phone and Freaky. There’s also the triumphant return of the killer clowns from the circus tent of space – ahem, house filled with insane and cotton-cocoon-eating alien clowns (ayyy, shorty!). Just in Time for Halloween Kills is an updated version of HHN’s house for John Carpenter’s Halloween ’78. Finally, the West Coast version of Universal Monsters: Legends Collide will stage a battle for a coveted cursed amulet between the Wolf Man, Dracula and the Mummy. (There’s a prequel house of sorts at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando that serves as a loose origin for the story — but you don’t have to go to both to get in.)
