In fact, the singer confessed to having written his song 21 Days for his great friend Sandrick Lavoie (!) and the reason is as touching as it is surprising.
“In the 21 Days music video, you’re talking on an answering machine to one of your friends, the famous Sansdrick from Occupation Double… and why did you want to talk to him?” asked Julie.
“Listen, Sans went through something pretty complicated after the release of ‘Occupation Double’ and we, her best friend and I had to step in to help Sans find herself. Actually, Pézie and I really wanted to see our friend healthy and sound,” launched the singer.
“You sent him to a cure?” asked the moderator.
“In fact, we motivated him to do something to help himself and he did a good job. He worked hard on himself and then I think that Sans is even healthier today and much better with himself. I’m very proud of him,” added Jonathan Roy, touched.
21 Days would therefore be a title chosen in connection with Sansdrick’s cure, which would have lasted 21 days.
