Jon Gosselin claims ex-Kate stole $100,000 from two of her children

Jon Gosselin has claimed his ex-wife Kate stole $100,000 from their children, but the reality star claims she “borrowed” the money.

In legal documents obtained by The Sun, the “Kate Plus 8” star admitted to making two separate withdrawals of $50,000 from two of her children’s trusts, but said it was “to survive.”

In the 2019 court filing, Kate claimed that assets from Hannah and Collins’ accounts were used to “cover her and the children’s expenses,” but she eventually bought a $750,000 lakefront home in North Carolina that same year. Dollar.

“It’s disgusting and morally wrong,” Jon told The Sun.

“Parents are not supposed to withdraw money from these accounts without permission, without producing papers that they will pay it back – but she has provided no papers and no payments have been made.

“You can’t live off your kids’ money alone,” he added.

In the documents, Kate also claimed that her eight children actually owe her money because she paid their private school tuition out of pocket.

“Well I mean, I don’t want to collect this, but I borrowed $100,000 from the children’s foundation,” she claimed in the filing. “And it technically owes me $387,000.”

Jon claims Kate still hasn’t repaid the trust of either Hannah or Collins, despite a judge ruling she should plan to do so.

Kate’s lawyer declined to comment to The Sun when questioned about the claims.

Though the former couple share eight children, Jon previously said he’s only in a relationship with Hannah and Collin.

“[Communicating with] the kids that live with Kate is very difficult because I don’t have an open relationship with them,” the Jon & Kate Plus 8 graduate told ET on the occasion of his sextuplets’ 18th birthday on May 10.

“[Kate] alienated me from these children. I think it was a bad parenting decision,” he claimed, adding, “It would have been a lot better if she had been more open with them and explained things better.”

While Hannah and Collin have been living with their father since August 2021, Alexis, Aaden, Joel and Leah live with Kate.

Jon – who also shares 21-year-old twins Cara and Madelyn with Kate – said he finally felt “free” after ending his years-long custody battle with his ex.

“I am free in the aspect that I now have grown children. I have my own businesses and now it’s time for me to move on,” Jon explained.
