As one of the most popular artists of Brazil is the singer joelma He has gone through difficult times in his life, but he has always turned around. In an interview, the artist recalled some of those moments and took the opportunity to reveal how she found the strength to overcome each one.

Speaking about life’s difficulties, Joelma says it’s important to persevere through setbacks: “Sometimes we take a step up. Then go down two. Still, we have to keep going. I have learned to live today as the last day of my life. And don’t give importance to anything that isn’t important.”
In her opinion, so much strength and dedication came from the women in her family, of whom the artist is very proud: “This strength comes from my greatgrandmother Cantiliana, my grandmother Raimunda and my mother Maria de Nazareth. Their stories repeated and they were all abandoned by their husbands. And back then it was much more difficult because the woman suffered from a lot of prejudice as a single mother,” she explains.
