Joe Exotic is hoping his new friendship with 90-day fiancé Jesse Meester could bring him a step closer to President Biden, who grants him clemency.
In his latest Instagram post, the 59-year-old convict – who found fame on Netflix hit series Tiger King – shared a shirtless photo of the 29-year-old reality star, whom he called an “amazing dear friend”.
“You will see him on my stuff more and more as he will help me give President Biden a voice at the White House to sign my pardon before November of this year,” the disgraced zoo keeper captioned the picture.

The Tiger King star, who was found guilty of 17 federal charges of animal cruelty and two counts of attempted murder and sentenced to 22 years in prison, added: “Show him some love. I love you Jesse.’
In response, the 90 Days alum left a comment below the post praising Exotic – real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage – for his resilience.
“We love you too, Joe! People close to you have turned their backs on you, but not on us. You have helped many people through lockdown and we should never forget the truth and authenticity with which you lived your life,” Meester wrote.

The reality star concluded: “It’s sad that sneaky and lying has become the norm [in] this society. It’s time to unite and fight back to get you out.”
In November, Exotic applied for release from prison to receive treatment after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
‘To update [sad face emoji] It is with a sad face that I must tell you that the doctors called me today to share the news that my prostate biopsy has come back with an aggressive cancer. I’m also still waiting for the results of other tests told his followers.
Exotic continued: “Right now I don’t want anyone’s pity and I’m sure Carole will have her own party about it! What I need is the world to be my voice to be set free, they have proof I didn’t!’
In January 2020, a federal jury found him guilty of two counts of hiring someone to murder Baskin in Florida, eight counts of violating the Lacey Act by falsifying wildlife records, and nine counts of violating the Endangered Species Act by killing five tigers and selling tigers across state lines

Back in August 2021, he revealed that his prostate cancer may have spread to his stomach and pelvis and would rather die in stage three or four, while criticizing the US criminal justice system for the lack of medical treatment given to prisoners.
At the time, the zoo owner said he had not received treatment in prison since his diagnosis months ago – as he is serving a 22-year sentence in Fort Worth, Texas – and feared the cancer had spread.
On August 9, Exotic told The Sun: “I’ve been waiting for a colonoscopy and an endoscopy since October. Medical treatment in prison is worse than any humane society for dogs.”
The American media personality was found guilty in 2019 on 17 federal charges of animal cruelty and two counts of attempted murder for killing Big Cat Rescue’s nemesis and owner Carole Baskin.
The case was the focus of the hugely popular 2020 Netflix series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness.

Exotic explained that he was forced to undergo a CT scan last week and the results were not encouraging.
He said: “They’re concerned it’s in my stomach and pelvis. I haven’t had treatment or anything since May. I puke when I pee – the pain is so bad.
“I keep losing weight and the pain in my hips and pelvis hurts. I limp to walk. And my stomach has been hurting for over a year.”
The Netflix star said he hopes to be taken to a specialist medical center for “many tests” including a “biopsy of my prostate and bladder, colonoscopy and endoscopy.”
Diagnosis: As early as May 2021, he shared his cancer diagnosis on Twitter and once again asked for forgiveness from President Joe Biden after his illness: “My PSA level was very high again because of prostate cancer. The prison has approved tests to check what phase it is in.
However, Exotic says he will refuse medical treatment if the disease progresses to stage three or four.
He explained: “Once we find out where it is and how bad it is, I will decide whether I will go for treatment. If it’s level three or four, I’ll take it.
Exotic also criticized the US criminal justice system for its lack of medical treatment for prisoners when he accused prison doctors of “not giving as well”.
He told the publication: “It’s crazy how they put people in here and just let you die.
“The things I’ve seen and the dead I’ve seen driving out here are outrageous and it’s about time our President and politicians heard the truth.”
