More than 35 years ago, in the autumn of 1985, two years after he had won second place as a singer-songwriter at the Festival de la chanson de Granby, the flamboyant Joe Bocan presented his show Paradoxale in a hall on rue Saint-Denis. The following year, she won the Félix for best pop show of the year at the ADISQ Gala.

In May 1988, the singer released her first album at the popular nightclub Chez Swann on rue Prince-Arthur, on which we can find some of her great hits, including “Starting back from zero”, a song that won the Grand Prix Radio-Mutuel de la won chanson québécoise in 1990. In both her clips and on stage, she dazzled with her costumes, special effects and accessories, including a real swimming pool and the giant propeller of an airplane that she had clung to during a show.

Joe Bocan is touring with the show For a one night stand, alongside Marie-Denise Pelletier and Marie Carmen. The three singers combine their voices on stage and also perform their big solo hits, including Start over, Apocalypsewhere and The veiled women for Joe.
