Joe Biden: What the 80 year old President of the United States’ latest medical report reveals

Joe Biden remains fit to carry out his duties and fulfill all of his responsibilities without fail, the White House doctor said on Thursday, February 16, 2023, while the American President underwent a comprehensive physical health examination during the day.

This medical exam, conducted at the Walter Reed Military Center in suburban Washington, Maryland, lasted three hours. This was Joe Biden’s second full medical exam since taking office as US President in January 2021.

The results of this medical examination were all the more awaited as 80-year-old Joe Biden is expected to shortly announce his candidacy for re-election in November 2024 and his advanced age is a concern among his Democratic peers .and among voters.

86 years old at the end of his possible second term

If he wins the presidential election again, Joe Biden will be 86 at the end of that possible second term, 13 years longer than the average life expectancy of an American, according to a study by the American Centers Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

A Portal/Ipsos poll conducted Feb. 6-13 shows about three-quarters of Americans think Joe Biden is too old to work in government.

For most Democratic voters polled, is the current tenant of the White House mentally sharp, but nearly half believe he won’t be able to withstand the physical demands of the presidency going forward.

During a television interview last week, Joe Biden invited Americans concerned about his age to “watch” him perform his presidential duties.
