Jessica Pegula made easy work of Barbora Krejcikova to seal a straight-set win and secure her place in the quarterfinals of Sunday morning’s Australian Open.
The No. 3, the daughter of Buffalo Bills owners, is now the ranking remaining player in women’s singles as she seeks her first-ever Grand Slam title.
Pegula won the match 7-5, 6-2 to set up a match with either Victoria Azarenka or Shuai Zhang in the last eight.
