Jesse Williams changes the plan for custody of two children with his ex-wife Arin Drake-Lee, so that the former star of Gray’s Anatomy can play on Broadway … after the end of the three-year divorce in 2020.

Jesse Williams and ex-wife Arin Drake-Lee have changed their custody agreement over their two children so he can star in a Broadway play this summer in New York.

The former Gray’s Anatomy star was reportedly in court last week with her ex, where a judge signed changes designed to best meet their existing order of shared legal custody of Maceo and Sadie.

Jesse and Arin have been married for five years and reportedly dated for a total of 13 years before ending their relationship in 2017, which has since become a difficult, three-year divorce process, finalized in October 2020.

TMZ reported that “the judge denied her request to reduce his physical time with the children” and instead gave Jesse “four consecutive days with the children” and two of those days were allowed over the weekend.

Williams will star in the Broadway production of Take Me Out from March to June.

The gossip site also announced that Jesse has been given “powers to break the tie” for 2022 regarding disputes with COVID-19, if the former couple can not agree on “vaccinations or face masks for children.” .

In addition, at her request, “the judge agreed that the actor can not cancel and then cancel” scheduled time with his children.

The former couple will meet again in court to change the custody agreement after the summer is over.

At one point last year, Jesse and Arin were ordered to attend a parenting course on “high conflict” after he reportedly “failed to change previous court orders on custody and visits” for their two children.

The Parenting Class is “an online six-session program providing strategies for reducing conflicts in co-parenting relationships.”

As part of their divorce, Arin retained the former family home in LA, along with locations in Brooklyn and Auckland.

She will also “keep the 2017 Audi Q7 SUV and the 2018 Q5 SUV, while Jesse will keep her Porsche Cayenne 2018 rental SUV.”

Documents reveal that the couple should “meet and consult with each other about posting photos of the children on social media.”

The documents also say that Jesse “owes $ 50,629 a month for the two children until October 2019, and then $ 40,000 a month thereafter.”

He will be responsible for paying Arin’s husband’s alimony of $ 50,695 for August 2019 and September 2019, but no additional payments are required thereafter.

A judge also announced in October that Jesse could keep $ 936,810 in profits after their separation in 2017 from his Gray’s concert.

At one point during their controversial divorce, Jesse was paying more than $ 100,000 a month in alimony.

The couple reportedly agreed to the agreement in September 2019, but is now officially signed by the judge.

Williams played the role of Dr. Jackson Avery in the popular ABC medical drama of 2009 and appeared in a spin-off, Seattle Grace: A Message of Hope. He left the series in 2021 after 12 seasons.
