Jeremy Renner teases that he’s “in the business and now he’s working on me” while teasing the Rennervations series

Just a month and a half after his near-fatal snowplough accident, Jeremy Renner is in good spirits on the road to recovery, even teasing his new Disney Plus series Rennervations.

The 52-year-old actor suffered blunt force trauma on New Year’s Day after being run over by a massive snowplow outside his Lake Tahoe home and later revealed he fractured over 30 bones.

Renner took to Instagram Tuesday and shared a behind-the-scenes look at him and his team working on a vintage city bus for the series.

The show was first announced in February 2022, though there’s no premiere date on Disney Plus yet.

While teasing the new series, he even alluded to his own recovery, joking that he was “in the shop” himself.

“Behind the scenes of #Rennervations is coming soon to @DisneyPlus around the world!” Renner began.

He added, “We are calling @Disney and @DisneyPlus now to launch this amazing new show.”

‘Further information follows. Thank you for your patience…while I’m in business and working on myself now,” Renner concluded, adding smiling, praying hands and bicep emojis.

He also took to his Instagram story and shared a photo of his dog, adding: “Love heals. Happy Valentine’s Day.’

The series is described as “an original four-part series that embodies Jeremy’s lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world by reinventing unique, purpose-built vehicles to meet the needs of a community.”

“Behind the big screen, Jeremy is an avid builder. He is heavily invested in the highly creative fabrication culture that exists around the world and hopes to use those skills to transform lives and inspire others to do the same.”

Renner serves as executive producer on the original series alongside Rory Millikin, Romilda De Luca, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, Sarina Roma and Patrick Costello.

The beloved actor was run over by a snow plow that the Washoe County Sheriff estimated weighed 14,330 pounds.

Renner was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center, which is said to be in “critical but stable condition” following the accident.

He underwent intensive care surgery a day later and the day after the surgery he thanked fans for their support, although: “I’m too confused to type now.”

The actor was discharged from hospital on January 17 to continue his road to recovery and shared a snap from his physical therapy session a few days later.

“Morning workouts, resolutions have all changed this special new year…. Emerged from tragedy for my entire family and quickly focused on uniting actionable love,” he posted.

“I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I…. Lots of love and appreciation to you all. Those 30+ broken bones heal and grow stronger as love and bonds with family and friends deepen. Love and blessings to you all,” concluded Renner.

He took to his Instagram story last week and shared a photo of a newly cleared front porch at his home as the snow began to melt.

‘This melt brings HOPE… And a new entrance to my house it seems… Up front!?!?’ Renner said in the post.

Renner is currently starring in Season 2 of the new Paramount Plus series The Mayor of Kingstown.

The show is halfway into its second season, although at this point it has yet to be renewed for a third season.
