Jeremy Renner shares another hospital update on his Instagram story

His sister recently told People that he is ‘shattering’ his recovery goals.

Jeremy Renner is on the mend after his freak accident on New Year’s Day.

The Marvel star was clearing snow from his property on the first of the year, trying to help one of his family members who was stuck in the snow when he was run over by his own plow, leaving him in critical condition.

Sure to keep his fans updated on his status, he shared his first update from the hospital in the form of a bedridden selfie just two days later, thanking everyone for their love and support and sending them his own love back.

Just days later, on his 52nd birthday, he thanked his “renowned” ICU team for their expert care and shared a photo with several of his caregivers around him.

Late last night, he shared another quick update to his Instagram Stories, writing “Have a very special night everyone” over a clip he took from the foot of his bed as he moved to another room for a CT or MRI was rolled.

It’s not clear how long Renner will have to stay in the hospital, but his sister, Kym RennerHe recently told People that he’s making “positive progress.”

She also told the publication, “We are so thrilled with his progress. If anyone knows Jeremy, he’s a fighter and doesn’t mess around. He smashes all progression goals. We couldn’t be more positive about the journey ahead.”

Despite his progress and clearly optimistic attitude, Renner is expected to face “a long road to recovery”. It’ll be a while before we see him back on set for anything, but in the meantime he’s looking forward to viewings of Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 ads that have aired in the city and premiere tomorrow on Paramount+ to have.
