Jeremy Renner gives update on recovery and strengthens muscles after being crushed in snowplough accident

Jeremy Renner shares an update with his fans as he continues to recover from his traumatic snow plow accident.

The Marvel actor took to his Instagram Story on Saturday and posted video of his leg being treated after it was crushed by the vehicle, which weighed more than 14,000 pounds.

“Electrical, stimulation, training and muscular strength,” read the caption above the video, in which he used a device that can be used to treat various muscle problems and pain.

The Beatles’ “Lady Madonna” played in the background of Renner’s video, with the caption: “Lady Madonna, children at your feet. Wonder how you manage to make ends meet. Who’ll find the money when you pay the rent ?Did you think the money was heaven sent?”

The 52-year-old star has been continuously sharing his recovery updates on his social media after being nearly crushed to death on New Year’s Day.

Earlier this week, the “Hawkeye” actor decided to spread some love on Valentine’s Day.

“Love heals,” he wrote over a picture of himself with his dog snuggled up next to him. “Happy valentines,” he added.

As Renner continues to update fans on his condition, he shared several upcoming projects he was working on prior to the near-fatal snowplow accident — including Disney Plus’ Renervations and Paramount Plus’ Mayor of Kingstown.

The accident happened on January 1 when Renner was trying to help a family member after his relative’s vehicle got stuck in the snow, according to authorities. An estimated three feet of snow had fallen during a storm the night before in Reno, where Renner owns a home near Lake Tahoe.

Using his PistenBully, a 14,000-pound snow groomer, Renner was able to successfully extricate the vehicle from his driveway. He then got out of the snow groomer and was talking to the family member when the snowplow unexpectedly started rolling.

When the Hurt Locker actor tried to get back into the snow groomer to stop it from proceeding, he was “run over” by the giant snow groomer.

Although Renner appeared to be in good spirits, medical experts determined his accident could have been fatal.

dr Robert Glatter, an assistant professor of emergency medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, told Fox News Digital that while Renner’s recovery is going well, he will likely face a difficult road ahead with extensive rehab and potential chronic pain.
