Jen Shah Won’t Interview Andy Cohen: I Don’t Want My Story To Be ‘Inaccurately’ Told

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah will not sit down with Bravo host Andy Cohen to discuss the aftermath of her prison sentence.

“I’m not going to do this 1-1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo,” the convicted fraudster, 49, revealed in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Shah claimed she is passing up the opportunity because the network is said to be “unwilling to waive contractual provisions.”

The reality star said she wanted to avoid “misrepresentation” about her “story on all issues prior to and during my participation” in RHOSLC.

Shah has starred in the hit unscripted series since it premiered in 2020. Season 3 has just aired with part one of their reunion – minus the embattled Bravolebrity – which aired on Wednesday.

“This particular 1-on-1 interview was not part of my RHOSLC reality TV contract,” she continued. “I have promised myself and my loving family that I will not allow this part of my life to be sensationalized or inaccurately portrayed.”

Shah added that “too many people have been hurt by my actions” and “an inability to control my own narrative”.

She said, “I would rather remain silent and wait until I’m able to tell my story accurately than continue to spread outright lies and misrepresentations about me in the headlines.”

Shah ended her post by promising to speak out in the near future. “You will hear from me,” she wrote. “I will be sharing my story and this vast chunk of my life very soon.”

Bravo had no comment when reached by Page Six.

Earlier this month, Cohen, 54, told SiriusXM’s Radio Andy that he was excited for a possible interview with Shah.

“I’m hoping to talk to Jen this weekend,” the Real Housewives honcho said Jan. 9.

“I’m confident that I can do it [interview] with her in front of some cameras and deliver that to you. I really hope to do that.”

Cohen’s comments came just days after Shah was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for orchestrating a nationwide telemarketing scheme aimed primarily at vulnerable elderly people.

Shah – who was facing a maximum of 14 – apologized to the victims and their family after her court hearing in New York City.

“I am deeply and deeply sorry,” she tearfully said while looking at her husband Sharrieff Shah and their sons Sharrieff Jr. and Omar.

She is scheduled to begin her sentence on February 17 in a federal prison in Texas.
