Jeff Lewis recalls a horrific robbery in his LA neighborhood

Jeff Lewis reported on the scene in his neighborhood after a woman was allegedly robbed in broad daylight on the street of his Los Angeles home.

Lewis’ neighbor, a 71-year-old woman from the Beverly Grove area, was zip-tied, robbed and pistol-whipped at her home on Wednesday afternoon, Fox 11 reports, citing authorities.

The 52-year-old Bravo star recalled being home at the time of the invasion and revealed why he refused to release surveillance footage from his backyard over fears detectives would see him naked in the videos.

“The crazy thing is that we were at home at the time. We were in the office. And suddenly police cars, helicopters, everything,” Jeff said Thursday on his SiriusXM show Jeff Lewis Live.

“What I don’t understand – and she’s a lovely lady, I’ve spoken to her several times – I may have seen her with a little gold Rolex on her or whatever, but I was wondering why they were targeting her ?

“Because there are many beautiful houses [my] Neighborhood, but this house is kinda humble. So I thought to myself, “Why are they targeting her?” But they have five expensive cars.”

However, when authorities asked him to release surveillance footage from his backyard to get more information about the robbery, Jeff refused to do so.

“I don’t always wear clothes back there”: However, when authorities asked him to release surveillance footage from his backyard to get more information about the robbery, Jeff refused to do so

The Flipping Out star revealed that he doesn’t “always wear clothes” in the backyard and enjoys going to the pool and “having sex” when his five-year-old daughter Monroe isn’t home.

“Our house is almost directly across the street so they went and knocked on all the doors and wanted to see our cameras… I was looking at our camera and I can’t see the street behind the wall and the hedges and the gates, so.” I think that won’t do them any good because they can’t see the house for the street,” he said.

“But they came to the house about three times. They said, “Look, we want to look at this footage if there’s any shadows or anything.”

He later said he told authorities: “I said, ‘My AV closet is downstairs and I don’t want you to go through it. Because, to be honest, one of those cameras is aimed at the backyard and I don’t always wear clothes back there.”

“If Monroe isn’t home, maybe we’ll go into the pool and have sex. Sometimes I get so drunk I can’t remember what happened… As far as I know it could have been nine people,” he admitted. “So I said, ‘You know, I’m just worried about giving the detective the DVR. I’m on TV.”

“So I didn’t turn in the DVR…I didn’t cooperate,” he concluded.

He said his neighbor is now “just hurt, a little bruised” and that Lewis said she hasn’t broken any bones or been stitched.
