Jay Leno Suffers Another Accident, Now He Fractures His Collarbone, Two Ribs and Two Kneecaps

Jay Leno has been on the wrong foot lately. Two months ago suffered severe facial burns and now he has broken several bones in a motorcycle accident.

In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the former host said he fell off his motorcycle on January 17 and fractured his collarbone, two ribs and two kneecaps.

“I’m fine, I’m working. I work this weekend.”he assured.

Leno, 72, explained that he was testing a 1940 Indian motorcycle at the time noticed a smell of leaking gasolinechecked the portal of the CNN TV channel in Spanish.

“So I turned down a side street and pulled into a parking lot, and unknown to me, a guy had a wire that ran across the parking lot but didn’t have a flag hanging,” Leno said. “So I didn’t see him until it was too late. He hit me and threw me off my bike.”

The comedian claimed he initially didn’t go public with the accident because he received a lot of publicity following the November incident in which he burned his face while working under a vintage 1907 car.

Jay Leno is an American satirical humorist and communicator, historical program host “The Tonight Show”on NBC, between 1992 and 2014, replacing Johnny Carson and passing the job first to Conan O’Brien, who returned, and then to Jimmy Fallon.

In 2009, Leno was succeeded by Conan O’Brien, but NBC backed down when the show’s ratings plummeted and brought Leno back as host in 2010. He stayed in the room until then Jimmy Fallon took office in 2014.

Both accidents, the one in November and the one ten days ago, were due to his passion for working on classic cars.
