The Game of Thrones graduate, 43, was met by director of his new documentary Deep Rising, Matthieu Rytz, and United Nations scientist Dr. Sandor Mulsow, escorted to the interview.

Sitting comfortably in his chunky white cardigan as he discussed the documentary about the controversial seabed mining proposal, on which he served as narrator and executive producer.

For the rest of his cozy ensemble, the actor donned a mint green button-up over a white shirt, ripped beige cargo pants and snow boots.

The famous superhero also sported transitional sunglasses and multiple rings. He was holding a purple water bottle and a brown film camera.

His luscious locks were pulled back into a tight bun, exposing the shaved sides of his head.

At Sundance, Jason, Matthieu and Dr. Muslow got the first look at her new documentary, which focuses on the fate of an ecosystem vital to marine life and even humans.

The tag for the film from Sundance reads: “…[T]His cutting-edge tale of geopolitical, scientific, and corporate intrigue… unveils the machinations of a secret organization empowered to green-light the massive extraction of metals believed to be essential to the electric battery revolution from the deep sea floor.

“Deep Rising, narrated by Jason Momoa, illuminates the vital relationship between the deep sea and the maintenance of life on Earth.”

While in the studio, Jason also spoke about his possible future with DC Studios and Warner Bros. after meeting James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new studio heads.

“It’s very, very wonderful. I’m at the Warner Bros. house and they like a lot of the things I do. We have a lot of good things coming.’

It was recently announced that Henry Cavill, who played Superman in several DC films, would not be returning to the franchise despite announcing he would be returning just weeks earlier.

The Dune actor went on to share more about the comparisons between his work for the planet and the themes that will emerge in the new Aquaman movie.

“The beautiful [about Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom] Me and my partner wrote the first cover for it and it was a 55 page cover and a lot of it has to do with talking to the UN about what is happening with the melting ice caps.’

He continued: “There is no galaxy far away that will destroy us or aliens from somewhere else. We’re ruining our planet. We must pull ourselves together and save our home.

“I will always be Aquaman. Nobody comes in there and takes shit. Maybe there are other characters too. I can also play other things. I can be fun and wild and charming.”
