Janet Jackson smiles despite a speeding ticket

Janet Jackson smiles at it all despite being fined for leaving her Range Rover in a private location at the dance studio for over four hours

She is said to be worth £150million, which could explain why pop star Janet Jackson was still smiling after her Range Rover got a speeding ticket.

The sister of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson parked in a space set aside for a car club’s vehicles in south London.

She attended a dance studio for rehearsals, which lasted about four hours.

Jackson, 56, who was spotted grinning as she pulled away with her ticket still on her windscreen, has lived in the capital on and off since her marriage to Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana in 2012.

They split in 2017 after she gave birth to their son Eissa.

As she exited the venue, a fan also managed to snap a selfie where she had a big smile on her face.

The warden also revealed that she was given a ticket in the same room last Saturday.

It comes after Janet said earlier this week she plans to release new music after a seven-year wait between studio albums in her new cover story for Essence.

The pop and R&B legend signaled it might be a bit of a wait for her die-hard fans as her “main job” right now is “being a mom”.

The singer-songwriter – who shares five-year-old son Eissa Al Mana with ex-husband Wissam Al Mana – has tried to devote her time to her child while she’s still young before heading back into the recording studio.

“Even though I absolutely love it, it’s still my work, my job,” Janet explained. “One day there will be music. Exactly when? I can’t say yet, but there will be some. I love it too much not to. That is everything I know.”

She added, “There’s so much I want to do — but my most important job is being a mom.”

Janet was interviewed in May shortly before her 56th birthday and her performance at the Billboard Music Awards on May 15, where she paid tribute to longtime friend Mary J. Blige.

The All For You singer has been living in London for the past few years as that’s where she’s raising her young son.
