‘RRR’ music composer MM Keeravaani expressed his gratitude on Monday as legendary Hollywood director James Cameron complimented his music in action drama film SS Rajamouli Magnum Opus.

Sharing a picture with James Cameron and SS Rajamouli on Twitter, Keeravaani wrote: “The awesome James Cameron watched RRR twice and gave feedback on my score!!! ocean full of excitement.”

“And he complimented how the music in RRR varied in volume and body, unlike typical westerns. A great honor and recognition for my work,” he added.

“RRR” starring Jr. NTR and starring Ram Charan received the Critics Choice Award for Best Song for its track “Naatu Naatu”. He also received the Critics Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film at a ceremony in Los Angeles.

MM Keeravaani’s track Naatu Naatu also recently received the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) Best Music Core Award.

He also shared a heartfelt note on his official Twitter account, writing: “Returning home after receiving 4 international awards for RRR including Golden Globe – with gratitude to Ramojirao Garu and all mentors who have enriched my music by they made me cross the borders of Telugu says: Balachander sir, Bharathan sir, Arjun Sarja and Bhatt Saab.”

“Congratulations to our Music Director #MMKeeravaani on winning BEST MUSIC/PARTNERS for #RRRMovie at @lafilmcritics,” read a post on RRR’s Instagram account.
RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr. NTR each played lead roles. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film.

“RRR” Song “Naatu Naatu” recently won the prestigious Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.

This lyrical composition of “Naatu Naatu” by MM Keeravaani, energetic performances by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, unique choreography by Prem Rakshith and lyrics by Chandrabose are all the elements that make this “RRR” crowd anthem a perfect dance craze do.
