James Bay is marrying his longtime girlfriend Lucy Smith 10 months after welcoming daughter Ada
James Bay announced on Instagram Monday that he had tied the knot with his girlfriend, 15-year-old Lucy Smith.
The 31-year-old singer shared beautiful snaps from the big day, 10 months after welcoming her first child, daughter Ada Violet.
The Give Me A Reason hitmaker simply wrote, “Mrs and Mrs Bay, August 2022,” along with a red heart emoji.

James wore a smart suit that he layered over a simple t-shirt, letting his dark locks hang loose and completing the look with a white flower in his buttonhole.
Meanwhile, the bride wore a stunning backless gown with an empire waist and lace detailing.
The pair beamed as they walked hand-in-hand around the grounds of the swanky venue before being showered with confetti by guests.

“We used to sit in front of the TV on a Wednesday night and she said, ‘Wait a minute, if you want to be a big artist one day, you should definitely be playing songs in a pub or a club now’.
“She drummed that into me, and I got out and did it. I wouldn’t be here without her.”

The Hold Back The River hitmaker has always been a “private person” but said his latest album Leap came from a place of pure “joy and positivity” after becoming a father.
He said: “I had never written from this perspective before. I had never written from a place of joy and positivity. Lucy and I first started dating when we were 16 and have been together ever since. She has supported me since day one.
He added: “From open mic nights to my biggest shows. It’s been one adventure after another, but now we’re on to the greatest of them all. Raising our beautiful daughter Ada.’
