Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier is coming to EastEnder’s filming after taking on the role of Mo Slater’s son

He will make his Walford debut as Mo Slater’s son, Freddie.

And Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier was certainly in good spirits as he twirled with EastEnders newcomer Ellie Dadd en route to filming on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old actor, who will play a recast of Little Mo’s son Freddie in scenes that will air this fall, was spotted fooling around with young Ellie, who is set to play a new incarnation of Amy Mitchell.

Bobby, the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 43, and the late Jade Goody, cut a casual figure in a green polo shirt and white shorts as he arrived on the soap’s set to film his latest scenes.

The star enjoyed an impromptu dance with Ellie, who wore a pretty mint green dress.

Ellie’s casting as Roxy Mitchell’s daughter Amy was announced Monday after Abbie Burke has played the role for the past eight years.

In disturbing scenes, Amy will be at the center of a harrowing bullying storyline this week after putting the spotlight on Howie’s son Denzel before being paraded by him and his friend Nugget.

Chelsea Fox is struggling to come to terms with the reality of teenage life and will be supporting Amy after she ripped a strip off Denzel and Nugget for bullying her.

Bobby was first spotted filming for EastEnders last month, with his character Freddie set to be part of the drama at Kat Slater’s wedding to Phil Mitchell.

It came just days after his casting was announced on the soap opera to take on the role of Freddie, who was last seen on Albert Square in 2006.

Speaking about landing his TV role, Bobby admitted he was “grateful” for the opportunity and “excited” to join the EastEnders team.

He said: “I am very grateful. I’ve loved every minute of Freddie so far. I’m delighted to be joining the EastEnders cast – so far it’s been perfect.

“Everyone has been so nice to me and has made it easier for me to settle in than I had hoped. Breaking into the acting world has always been a vision of mine and to do so with EastEnders as Slater is a blessing.

‘I’m very grateful. I love every minute of Freddie and can’t wait to see what awaits him at Walford.”

Freddie was born after Little Mo, played by Kacey Ainsworth, was raped by her boyfriend Graham Foster.

She refused to abort the baby, which led to the breakdown of her marriage to then-husband Billy Mitchell, played by Perry Fenwick.

After the birth, Little Mo left Albert Square with Freddie to start a new life.

While it’s not exactly clear what’s in store for Freddy, EastEnders bosses have said he’s “on a mission that could end in heartbreak”.

Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw said, “Freddie Slater is a messy 18-year-old with a sensitive soul. A modern boy in touch with his spiritual side. He is philosophical, accepting, but full of mischief and makes mistakes.

“Bobby is an amazing young addition to the EastEnders cast who brings heart and humility to the role of Freddie Slater and I can’t wait for audiences to get to know him.”
