Ive never felt so disgusted said a Brit after eating

“I’ve never felt so disgusted,” said a Brit after eating a snail at a McDonald’s snack bar

British Shelby Paige Forrester, who lives in Hodnet, Shropshire, posted on her Facebook profile the disgusting story of the slug she found in a chicken wrap bought at McDonald’s.

She made the report on January 11 on the social network, posting a series of photos of the mollusk on its meal and with its shell broken. “I’ve never felt so disgusted in my entire life,” he said when telling the internet what happened.

She said it felt strange when she felt something more consistent than chicken in her mouth, but figured it was just part of the meat that was tougher.

“I literally took two or three bites of the snack and felt something crunchy in my mouth. And I was hoping it would be a piece of chicken,” Shelby told The Sun tabloid.

Paralyzed by the situation, she asked her husband to confirm what she had already suspected: there was a snail in the middle of the snack.

Shelby didn’t know what to do. She wanted to run to the sink in the next bathroom and at the same time was very angry that she was going through this situation.

“I was paranoid because I thought the snail might give me some kind of disease,” she told the British tabloid.

She complained to the restaurant she was in, but she wasn’t happy with what happened. The seller returned the money and asked if she would like to order another snack. Shelby wanted to go further and look for someone responsible for what happened.

Days later, she received a call from the restaurant manager saying the snail would be examined in a lab to assess the risk of contracting a disease.

The experience was traumatic and the woman has no intention of again eating meals prepared in any unit of the snack bar chain.

A McDonald’s spokesman told The Sun: “The quality of the food is most important to us and we value quality control with strict standards to avoid any imperfections. When the customer explained to the restaurant staff what happened, we immediately apologized and refunded the money. Our customer service contacted the customer to apologize and help find a solution.”
