Dorothy Curry, of Irish descent, worked for many years at the Trump house as a maid and nanny. He had to do his job very well because, according to Forbes and Newsweek, Ivana Trump left him a multi-million dollar estate in Florida in her will alongside his Yorkshire named Tiger.
Ivana Trump, the ex-wife of former United States President Donald Trump, died last July after falling down the stairs at her Manhattan home at the age of 73. Ivana died from “blunt impact injuries to her upper body,” the New York Coroner’s Office reported. The paramedics who came to her house found her unconscious at the bottom of the stairs and could not do anything for her life.

In Raising Trump, an autobiography Ivana published in 2017, he already left signs of his affection for Dorothy, whom he described as an energetic and brilliant woman. The nanny is the one who taught her three children the value of the Christian religion. “Religion doesn’t play a big role in my life, but I’m glad the kids grew up with God,” Ivana said. Also in the book, Eric describes Dorothy as his “second mother”: “She has raised me since I was a baby and we are incredibly close. I love you very much.”

Ivana’s net worth is estimated at $34 million. One million goes to Dorothy, she also left an estate in St. Tropez (France) for her friend Evelyne Galet and the rest of her fortune is divided equally between her three children: Ivanka, Eric and Donald. Nothing for your ex-husband.
Ivana also became rich as a model alongside her marriage to Donald Trump. His wardrobe was endless and he decided to donate it to the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army, although he determined his furs would be sold and the benefit would go to his children.

The Trumps must file a federal estate tax return. Ivana’s fortune exceeds the $12 million that the state allows her to inherit tax-free. The government would keep 40%, which is about $9 million.
