Singer Péricles, 52, was present at Camarote Bar Brahma in Anhembi in São Paulo early Saturday, 18, a day after he suffered an attack with his family outside his home in the metropolitan area. “It was awful,” he said.

“Everyone is subject and I’m no better than anyone else,” the singer added. He thanked all fans for their affection and reiterated his desire to bring the story to an end. “Life goes on.”

And despite the fear, Pericles showed that he was not losing his joy. “It’s Carnival and the audience expects the best of us. And we’re here to do our best,” said the singer, who set the goal for 2023 to lose at least another 10kg.

“We will not be releasing an official note or any other details about what happened. Just to say that the robbery really happened, the singer’s car was stolen but thank God he and everyone who was with him is fine good,” he shared with Pericles’ advice.

The case is being investigated by the 70th DP and so far none of the suspects have been found.
