A man was filmed sliding between two moving cars on the green line of the Montreal subway, a dangerous maneuver that drew widespread reactions on social media.
In the video, first posted on TikTok by @dydychouu, the man can be seen kneeling. He also waves to other tube users, who are clearly amused by the situation, before getting up and getting off at Beaudry station as if nothing happened.
Despite being removed from TikTok, the video is still circulating on Facebook and Instagram.
The Société de Transport de Montréal (STM) contacted by the QMI agency indicated that it is carrying out the appropriate follow-up in relation to this situation, which violates several regulations.
“This is dangerous behavior that could have had serious consequences for the person, but also for the other passengers and for the service,” explained an STM spokesman, specifying that the man we see in the video is subject to sanctions .
