Production on season 11 of FX’s American Horror Story officially began Monday in Manhattan’s West Village when Isaac Powell and Charlie Carver were spotted kissing on set.
The 27-year-old Grammy nominee portrays the character of Theo, while the 34-year-old SAG Award nominee plays Adam in Ryan Murphy’s and Brad Falchuk’s horror anthology series.
Season 11 is definitely set in the late ’70s based on the costumes – and Isaac certainly showed off his chiseled chest, six-pack abs and bulging biceps wearing a retro vest.

Powell is best known for his work in Broadway musicals such as West Side Story, while Carver (née Martensen) and his identical twin Max recently appeared in The Batman.
Also on set Monday was legendary comedian Sandra Bernhard, who was filmed carrying a bag of groceries past a fruit and veg stand.
The 67-year-old actress and singer – who used to be Madonna’s best friend – wore a patterned blouse tucked into black jeans and boots, with a brown handbag slung over her shoulder.
