Is a Quebecer about to make his debut with the Kings?

The Los Angeles Kings have recalled Quebec defenseman Tobie Paquette-Bisson from their American League school club, the Ontario Reign.

This was announced by the Californian formation late Monday afternoon. For the 26-year-old, it is the first recall to the National League.

Born in Rosemère, he made the leap to the pros in 2018-2019 after spending four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He then rolled his belly for five seasons in the North American minor circuits.

Paquette-Bisson also played with Laval Rocket, the Montreal Canadiens’ varsity club from 2020-2022. He left the CH organization last summer by signing a one-year, two-string deal with the Kings organization. It was the first time he received a valid agreement at Bettman Circuit.

In 41 games this season with Reign, the 6-foot-3 guard has 12 points, including three goals.
