Independente Tricolor opens Special Group in SP and sings Guerra Troia on his return to Elite

Independente Tricolor, a school born of São Paulo fans, inaugurated the Special Group for Carnival in São Paulo this Friday (17th). She compared the Trojan War to the school’s daily struggles to stay ahead (watch the videos of the parade above).

Back in the elite of the São Paulo Carnival after three years in the Access division, Independente began the parade with a duel of the gods of good and evil in the front committee with fifteen components representing the conflict.

The Trojan War (quarrel between Greeks and Trojans, around 12th century BC) inspired the storyline “Samba no pé, spear in hand. This is an invasion.”

“Samba on foot, spear in hand. It’s an invasion,” is the slogan of the school, which is returning to the special group after three years.

The Vila Guilherme school in the North Zone of São Paulo also depicted the Spartan army and the god of war in the winged chariot. The Greek Army, in turn, appeared in the costumes of members of the school’s battery, who made several “stops” and “stops” during the parade.

In front of the percussionists, Mileide Mihaile, influencer and wife of Wesley Safadão, made her debut as the queen of drums (See photos from the parade above.).

The school portrayed various gods along the way. Entities like: Hermes, the messenger; Hades, god of the underworld; Aphrodite, goddess of love; Erebro, the god of darkness; and a wing of dancers representing thanksgiving to the god Dionysus.

The school was demonstrated with 1600 components and 20 wings divided into four allegories. At the end, the fourth chariot brought a representation of the Trojan horse, symbol of the Greek invasion. The idea was to show that Independente marched into Anhembi as they did then.
