International imports also increased by 1.8% between May and June 2022. This jump is also attributable to lubricants and other refined petroleum products (+143.4%), motor gasoline (including including gasoline blending components and ethanol fuel) (+36.6%) as well as other metal products (+55.2%).

Motor vehicles and their chassis (-32.2%), unwrought gold, silver and platinum group metals and their alloys (-76.0%), aircraft parts and other aerospace materials (-11.5%) and hot-rolled iron and steel products (-48.7%) saw a decline.

In the first six months, imports increased by 0.6% compared to 2021.
