Im over it Love Islands Afia Tonkmor is missing filming

‘I’m over it!’ Love Island’s Afia Tonkmor is missing filming on the reunion show

Love Island’s Afia Tonkmor missed filming on the reunion show, which took place on Thursday night – and insisted she is “over” attending the show.

The lounge host, 25, instead partied with her friends in London, sharing videos having fun on TikTok.

Afia entered the villa with Ekin-Su Culculoglu as the first two bombshells, but while the Turkish actress, 27, was chosen by Davide Sanclimenti in reconnecting, Afia found no connection to anyone in the villa and was the first to be released from Paradise.

Afia confirmed her absence on TikTok when she posted a video of her partying with her friends at a nightclub.

In the comments, one fan asked if she would reunite with her former co-stars at the reunion, and she replied, “No.”

She added that she’s “over it now” after appearing on the show nearly seven weeks ago and only staying at the villa for a few days.

Afia hasn’t posted to Instagram in four weeks, and in her latest post, the star posed with dumped islander Ikenna.

Speaking to Heat after being fired, she opened up about how she now plans to move to Bali, Indonesia.

She said: “I don’t have many plans but I will move to Bali. I always wanted to move to Bali and then it came about.

“Now me and my friends think it’s the best time. I feel like the UK just isn’t my vibe at this point.

Jacques O’Neill was the only other cast member of the 2022 series to avoid Thursday’s reunion show.

The eight stars of the series came together outside the villa for the first time to film the annual reunion show, which airs on ITV2 on Sunday night.

But Jacques, 23, opted to skip filming amid backlash after his partner Paige Thorne romantically moved on with Adam Collard and amid new claims he had “bullied” islander Tasha Ghouri.

A source told The Sun: “Unfortunately, Jacques has decided he’s just not ready to see Paige just yet, and especially not with Adam.

“He made the decision to wait for a more opportune moment to talk to her again after everything he’s been through.”

At the time, Web contacted Jacques’ representatives with a request for comment.

The former rugby player left Love Island earlier this month when former contestant Adam, known for being a womanizer, was drafted into the current series by ITV producers and quickly began flirting with Paige.

Hours before the reunion was due to film, he appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about life after the dating show and admitted he “just wanted my mum” after his traumatic experience.

Presenter Kate Garraway began by asking Jacques: “How are you feeling out there now because it was emotional watching the episode you left?”

Jacques replied: “When I first came out it was very different for me, I was scared of life and what was going to be next for me.

“When I was in the Holding mansion, all I wanted was my mother. We got death threats. I figured I’ll delete social media.’

The reality personality decided to walk away after Adam’s arrival, as he declared, “Making Love Island was the worst decision of my life.”

While Jacques received widespread sympathy following his interview, public sentiment quickly changed during the day when he was caught mocking fellow islander Tasha in a private Instagram story that was leaked online.

Jacques filmed himself watching Tasha’s speech to Andrew Le Page in the Love Island finale at the Summer Ball.

Exaggeratingly quoting the now iconic words of Davide Sanclimenti, he said: “You are a liar, an actress, go to hell!”

After the video was leaked on Twitter, fans turned against Jacques, arguing that he left the villa because of his mental health but cares little about the mental health of others, especially women.

Many said they were far less sympathetic to his plight, claiming he bullied Tasha.

One tweeted: “So Jacques left the villa to protect his own sanity but still bullies one of the girls from outside. Doesn’t mental health matter for girls?

Tasha’s dad then waded into the line and took to Twitter to secretly attack Jacques.

In response to the video clip, he wrote: “Some people grow and mature through their island experience, some don’t. It is what it is.’
