Portal Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a newspaper interview on Monday that China’s support of Russia in Moscow’s war against Ukraine would lead to a world war.
Zelenskyi’s comments came after China said the United States was in no position to make demands after the top US diplomat warned his Chinese counterpart over the weekend against supplying Russia with weapons for its war in Ukraine.

“It is important for us that China does not support the Russian Federation in this war,” Zelenskyi told the German daily Die Welt. “Actually, I would like to have her on our side. But I don’t think that’s possible at the moment.”
PROCEED TO RECOMMENDATIONS
“But I see an opportunity for China to make a pragmatic assessment of what is happening here,” he added. “Because if China aligns with Russia, there will be a world war, and I think China is aware of that.”
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Saturday warned senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi of the consequences if China provided material support to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, saying in an interview after the two met Washington was concerned that Beijing was considering arms deliver to Moscow.

Zelenskyy told the world that Ukraine had passed intelligence information to Moldovan President Maia Sandu that suggested Russia was planning a coup d’état in the country.
“Maia Sandu never asked me for help, but she thanked me for the information. She knows our situation very well. Ukraine will always be ready to help Moldova,” he added.
The Kremlin on Monday said Russia’s relations with Moldova were very strained and accused Moldovan leaders of pursuing an antiRussian agenda, a week after the country said it had thwarted a Russianbacked coup attempt.
