The singer Erasmo Carlos, 81 years old, was released and is now at home. This Wednesday (02), the artist published a photo with his wife Fernanda Passos and joked about the rumors that he had died during his hospitalization. He treated edemagenic syndrome (when there is an imbalance in the biochemical forces holding fluids in the blood vessels).
“Very symbolic… After they killed me on the 30th, I was revived and discharged from the hospital on All Souls’ Day! Thank God to everyone who cared for me, prayed for me and cheered for my recovery… This photo with Fernanda translates how happy we are,” the artist said.
Erasmo recently posted a photo in which he appears as an inpatient at the Copa D’or hospital in western Rio de Janeiro. The 81yearold singer had to make an appearance on social media Fend off rumors of his deathwhich spread on the Internet after Folha de São Paulo published a false message on Monday (October 31).
“‘The horizon out the window. The freedom of a street I can see. My thoughts fly free in dreams. Far from where I am. The photo was taken by Fernanda Passos, his wife, at Barra D’or Hospital today. This year I will not die paraphrasing Belchior,” the veteran wrote in the publication’s caption.
