A proud dad has revealed how he got a tattoo from his six-year-old as part of a bonding experience.
Arizona resident Wesley Owens had both a heart and a smiley face tattooed on his leg by his daughter Adeline.
He said her work was a “masterpiece” and “means the world to both of us.”
But the Louisiana native wasn’t the only one in awe of the young artist — many of his 87,000 TikTok followers were impressed by her art and his parenting skills.

Arizona resident Wesley Owens had his daughter Adeline tattoo a heart and a smiley face on his leg and said, “This.” [heart] Tattoo means the world to both of us.
The loving father, who works as a tattoo artist himself, filmed Adeline tattooing him three times in his salon.
During Adeline’s first tattoo, she became a little hesitant in the middle of the session before her father encouraged her by saying, “You did it, you can do it.”
And the result was a thin heart silhouette that he loved.
Wesley allowed the tattoo to heal and brought his daughter back for a touch-up session.
He showed her the healed tattoo and she said, “Oh, it looks really good.”
The father was then recorded saying: “I think it looks really good too, but would you mind doing a touch-up for me?” She agreed and said: “Yes, definitely.”
“How it heals this time will last forever and I absolutely love it!!!!!,” he wrote lovingly in the video’s caption.
At the end of the clip, he said, “I’ll give you ice cream as a tip tonight,” to which the negotiator replied that she wanted a toy instead — and she ended up getting a toy, according to the father’s online comment.
Wesley decided to get Adeline’s tattoo on him again, revealing: “I decided to have Adeline tattoo a smiley face next to the heart that she had tattooed last time.”
But he wasn’t the only one in awe of the young artist – many of his 87,000 TikTok followers were impressed by her art and his parenting skills

And the third time around, the youngster showed even more confidence.
“She’s felt a lot better since the last time.” She doesn’t even mind that it hurts me a little. I think if she sticks with it, she might have a future in tattooing.
“I wonder how many other six-year-olds tattoo their dad.” I love it when she tattoos me. “Everyone is absolutely perfect,” the spokesman said.
He called their work a “masterpiece,” but Wesley wasn’t the only one impressed – and his followers were in awe.
One person responded to the comments, writing: “Years later when she has a customer who asks her how long she’s been tattooing… ‘Since I was six.’ ‘Good job dad.’
“If she ever becomes a tattoo artist she should get another heart made next to this one,” another added.

When one commenter was impressed by the encouragement given to his daughter, he replied: “I wish all parents would encourage their children in this way.” “The world would be a better place for sure.”
Someone commented on the “strong bond” the two share. He replied, “We have to.” We depend on each other so much. “We have the perfect dynamic.”
The father and his now eight-year-old daughter continue to explore together and enjoy hiking, climbing and going to the circus.
