Amid all his troubles, Hunter Biden sure knows who to turn to — his controversial “sugar brother” attorney Kevin Morris.
The first son was spotted visiting his friend on Tuesday as possible federal charges loomed over his head and he was caught up in discovering the mess of his father’s secret documents.
Morris became known as Hunter’s “sugar brother” after reportedly loaning him $2.8 million to pay off a tax bill in 2021, just as a federal probe into his financial affairs was opening and facing jail time.
And he also ran a campaign to try to discredit information from the laptop that Biden left at a Delaware repair shop, the contents of which have proven extremely embarrassing to the Biden family.
Hollywood lawyer Morris, 59, is known for his hard driving.

Morris – a Hollywood lawyer – became known as Hunter’s “sugar brother” last May after reportedly paying his $2.8 million overdue tax bills and helping fund Hunter’s lavish lifestyle, including covering for rent and other expenses and assisting in the sale of his artwork

As exclusively reported last October, he sent “threatening texts” to members of right-wing transparency group Marco Polo – which earned him an ethics complaint.
He called one member of the group “fucking idiot,” adding in other lyrics, “I’ll take all your money,” “I know where you live,” and “You’ll enjoy being a bum.” for 20 years guy. Grease yourself.’
Morris sent the rough texts to a Marco Polo investigator, who had messaged the attorney posing as a potential ally in Hunter’s defense case.
Morris is also a published author, having published a collection of short stories entitled White Man’s Problems in 2015, followed by a novel All Joe Knight in 2016
Morris is also said to have lied to get on the film set of My Son Hunter, a film intended to cast Biden in the worst possible light with stories about his drug use, parties and corrupt business deals.
He flew on a private plane to Serbia, where the film was being shot, and claimed he wanted to interview producers for a documentary he was said to be making about Biden’s corruption.
Producer Phelim McAleer said at the time: “Now that I know his portrayal of Hunter Biden, his questions during filming suddenly make a lot of sense. I thought he was just making a documentary but now he seems to be deceptively spying for his client Hunter Biden.
Morris and two colleagues gave us full access to the set for several days to record hours of footage for the alleged documentary.
The filmmakers claim that Morris was particularly interested in what the film was about – including where they sourced their information and what they knew about how Hunter’s laptop ended up in the hands of the media.

Morris made his name as an attorney for South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
He’s also represented a slew of Hollywood heavyweights, including Ellen DeGeneres, Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, and Chris Rock.
Hunter Biden, 52, has faced growing challenges since Republicans gained control of the US House of Representatives.
They have threatened to launch an investigation linking President Joe Biden to his son’s activities.
Distinguished Washington DC attorney Abbe Lowell, who represented Jared Kushner during FBI Director Robert Mueller’s investigation into his father-in-law Donald Trump, will be working for Hunter on these matters.
Republicans also want to know how much access Hunter had to his father’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, where classified documents were discovered.
David Weiss, US Attorney for Delaware, is also investigating Hunter’s dealings and is said to be focusing on the $30,000 Hunter claimed as a business deduction from his tax returns.
He could also be charged with buying a handgun in 2018 when he stated on the application that he didn’t do drugs.
Photos found on the laptop showed him around this time, and he admitted to using crack cocaine in his memoir Beautiful Things, released in 2021.
Biden may also need legal advice to prevent Lunden Roberts, a former stripper and mother of his love child Navy, from changing the four-year-old girl’s surname to Biden.
Just this month, he filed papers with an Arkansas court asking a judge to deny Robert’s request, saying the name change would rob the child of a “peaceful existence.”

None of the Biden family – including Hunter – are believed to have ever met Navy, which Hunter initially claimed was not his until a court-ordered DNA test proved otherwise.
Roberts’ attorney Clinton Lancaster said she wanted to change her daughter’s name because the Biden name was “synonymous with well-educated, successful, financially acute and politically powerful.”
Biden and Roberts are also fighting over child support. Hunter wants his payments reduced and claims his financial circumstances have undergone “a material significant change.”
But Roberts said he has a “well-established history of a lavish lifestyle” and is trying to “squelch revelations in his financial affairs while reducing his child support obligations because he claims he is now earning less income”.
Biden, who has taken up painting since sobering up and remarrying, is also under a cloud surrounding the amount he receives for his artworks.
Last month his art dealer, New York gallery owner George Berges, said his art costs between $55,000 and $225,000 apiece.
This has raised ethical concerns as buyers tend to remain anonymous.
Fears have been raised that the buyers could be foreigners trying to influence presidential policies.
