Rihanna shocked the world on Sunday when she revealed she was pregnant with her second child during her Super Bowl halftime performance.
But although she waited until the big day to unveil her latest baby bump, she seems to have hinted that baby number two is on the way in an interview conducted just before the show.
While speaking with CBS Mornings co-host Nate Burleson, Rihanna admitted that she was “thinking about bringing someone,” which in hindsight appeared to refer to her unborn child.
Burleson confirmed in a tweet that the line referred to her baby bump shortly after Rihanna had fueled speculation on social media.
He quoted a post that read, “When #rihanna @nateburleson said there would be a surprise guest at the halftime show, I bet the BABY is the surprise guest.”

Burleson came to Rihanna’s pregnancy hints by first asking her if she was “doing music anytime soon.”
“I just want to make music and have fun with it,” the seemingly upset singer replied.
“But if it has to be an album, that can take some time,” she added.
Some fans joked on social media that they’d “never” get an album now, assuming she probably wouldn’t dive headfirst into new music, especially when she was pregnant with another child, and a nine-month-old raised child.
