In 2010 the film “karate kid‘, starring actors Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. In the storyline, a young man moves to China and begins to be trained by a great martial arts master to defend himself against the school bully.
“Work drives a single mother to move to China with her son; In his new home, the child adopts kung fu being taught by a teacher.”
Many have questioned whether or not Chan will be allowed to appear on season 6 from Cobra Kai. There’s a big problem that needs to be solved before this happens. The fighter has no connection to Miyagisan or any other character previously shown in The Karate Kid.
Unlike Hilary Swank, who played Julie Pierce in Karate Kid 4: The New Adventure, Jackie Chan wasn’t quoted in any of the classics. Obviously if the creators want to honor him they can make up a story saying he knew Miyagi or something.
However, Swank is more likely to show up than Chan since she was trained by the same master as Daniel LaRusso, who could have revealed information about his former student.
So it’s clear that the odds of Jackie showing up in season six are pretty much zero.
