Keep calm and keep croaking! Holly Willoughby breaks out giggling as she shares a cup of tea with ‘Britain’s cheekiest duck’

She has interviewed a range of stars in her time, from A-list celebrities to world leaders.

But Holly Willoughby faced a very unusual guest on Wednesday’s This Morning when she spent time with Ham, “Britain’s cheekiest duck”.

Alongside co-host Phillip Schofield, the 41-year-old presenter was in hysterics as she chatted with Ham and his owner Charlotte Taylor-Dugdale in the studio.

Quacky, good luck! Holly Willoughby faced a very unusual guest on Wednesday’s This Morning as she spent time with Ham, “Britain’s cheekiest duck”.

Ham is a local feathered celebrity in Lancashire due to his cheeky antics, with the bird often spotted strolling or driving around town.

Four-year-old Indian Runner Duck proved to be the perfect guest, sitting quietly until Holly offered him a cup of tea.

After learning from his owner that Ham was a fan of warm brews, Holly couldn’t resist offering him her mug.

“Would you like to stretch out and have a cup of tea?” Holly asked, “Oh you like a little cup of tea!”

After flapping his wings, Ham waddled over to take a few sips, but the messy drinker made quite a mess on the carpet.

Phil quickly jumped in and took the cup away at that point, noting, “We’re going to take that away because I don’t know how healthy it is for you to have a lot.”

Holly fared better with the farm animal than former co-host Emily Atack, who previously revealed she was “traumatized” after dropping a lamb live on air during the This Morning presentation.

Actress and co-host John Barrowman filled in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford in 2018 when they interviewed a farmer and his flock about the lambing season, but things didn’t go to plan.

Animal mishaps are no stranger to the set of This Morning. Holly jumped onto the sofa earlier and cowered anxiously behind Phillip as Ingrid Tarrant introduced her pet pig, George, to the program.
