“It’s going to be great to do Dune with actors like Timmy and Zendaya and Austin, firstly they’re amazing people and secondly they’re incredible actors,” Pugh said of his co-stars, as well as Austin Butler, who just portrayed Elvis Presley in the Baz film Luhrman.
“They are stars in their own way, not the clichés of the past. They are just brilliant people and I’m lucky enough to call them all.”my friends‘ is something really super exciting. Dune: Part 2 will see Austin Butler in action on the big screen, playing the villain Feyd-Rutha Harkonnen, the nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, played by Stellan Skarsgård in the first film, as well as the younger brother of the powerful Glossu Rabban Harkonnen by Dave Bautista, flanked by a large list of newcomers. These include the aforementioned Florence Pugh in the role of the Emperor’s daughter Princess Irulan, Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Lea Seydoux in that of Lady Margot, Souhela Yacoub in the part of Shishakli e Tim Blake Nelson whose role is currently unknown.
Among the faces returning from the first chapter is Timothée Chalamet in the role of Paul Atreides, zendaya in the role of Chani, Javier Bardem as stilgar, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Stellan Skarsgard as Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, David Bautista as Glossu Rabban, Charlotte Rambling in the Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam e Stephen McKinley Henderson in that of Thufir Hawat.
