Money doesn’t buy love, which is why many of the richest people in the world are single this Valentine’s Day.

Some have gone through the pain of divorce (once or more than once), while others have practiced serial monogamy for several years before moving on. There are also single billionaires with troubled exes, says Forbes.

To identify some of America’s most eligible billionaires, the magazine combed the ranks of the Forbes 400 — from innovative tech entrepreneurs to brash fashion moguls to passionate philanthropists — to find those who don’t have a ring on their sleeve but do have one open to finding love.

In the end, each of these qualifying billionaires has much more to offer than a three-comma bank account.
