Amid multiple family disagreements, Harry and Meghan have been officially “demoted” on the British royal family’s official website. Now the photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appears at the bottom of the list in the royal newsletter, above just Prince Andrew, Duke of York City who has been embroiled in sex scandals and removed from crown duties.
Previously, the couple’s picture was positioned just below that of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who were promoted to Prince and Princess of Wales after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
During Queen Elizabeth II’s farewell procedures, Harry experienced further “reprisals” from the family. The Duke, unlike the rest of the family, was prevented from wearing his military uniform at ceremonies. However, Charles would have allowed Harry to wear the costume to the royal funeral but on one condition: he couldn’t have his grandmother’s initials on the uniform. The book also notes that Harry considered turning to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, for help with his move to the United States. However, the prince abandoned the idea after failing to draw attention when raising the issue.
Also, the Queen informed the couple that if they were not willing to work in accordance with the law, they would have to give up the royal post. “There was a very clear vision: you can’t get in and out,” the source said.
