Hailey Bieber ‘allowing her body to heal’ after blood clot and insists husband Justin is ‘ok’

Hailey Bieber gave an update on her recent health crisis and husband Justin’s ongoing medical struggles while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 25-year-old model was hospitalized in March for a small blood clot in her brain that was causing her to have symptoms similar to a stroke and recently underwent heart surgery.

Following her health struggles, superstar husband Justin also required medical attention as he battled Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that left one side of his face temporarily paralyzed.

Troubled talk show host Jimmy, 47, began his interview by opening up about the couple’s progress and asked: “You’ve had a rough couple of months, how’s everything going?”

But Hailey insisted she and Justin are on the mend, replying: “Everything is fine. I’m fine. My health scare is, you know, we’ve moved away from that.

“I’m just giving my body time to heal and do it, but I’m fine.”

‘He is [Justin] it’s ok too Obviously, it’s been a strange turn of events in the last few months and even the last few days.

When Jimmy said it must have been scary, Hailey replied, “He’s okay and he’ll be totally okay.”

Jimmy pointed out that it’s been almost 10 years since she moved to town and started modeling, and asked what she remembered about those early days.

“I moved to the city when I was 17,” Hailey said. “I kind of had an agreement with my parents. I had just started modeling and I begged her, “Please let me move to the city. It’s so much easier for everything, for travel and for casting.”

“They said, ‘Absolutely not, unless you can afford it yourself,'” Hailey said. ‘Deal, if I book a job where I can afford my own rent for the whole year, you have to let me move out.’

Hailey said she booked her first job, which paid her rent by the dollar for the whole year.

“I moved out but lived with my older sister until I was 18,” Hailey said.

“I had dinner with Justin one night,” Hailey said. ‘He said, ‘So you have your own place, how was it, do you have all your furniture? Do you have everything you need?”

Hailey said she told him she had a couch and dishes.

“He’s like, ‘We will, that’s amazing, is there anything you don’t have yet?'” Hailey said. “And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I don’t have a TV yet, but it’s like getting one, it’s no big deal.’

Jimmy said Justin was a gentleman.

“I still have the TV,” Hailey said. “I couldn’t get rid of the TV, folks. It was too cute. It is still in our apartment today.”

Jimmy then asked Hailey about her new skincare line called Rhode, her middle name, which launched Wednesday.

“That’s my mother’s middle name, too,” Hailey said.

Jimmy launched her products and asked her what inspired her to start a skincare line. Hailey said she was often asked by different makeup artists what she did for her skin.

“It was just always something I was really passionate about,” Hailey said. “I’ve always been someone, and quite obviously up to this day, who was very committed to being a routine, very regimented person who is very obsessed with a skincare routine.”

Hailey said she always knew she wanted to use the name for a brand she was creating.

“Rhode Skin just kept calling me and coming to see me,” Hailey said. “I also thought it was very fitting because my mom taught me so much about taking care of myself, skin care and sun care and all these different things. So I thought there’s a really nice story with the name.’

Jimmy laughed. He also pointed out that she used a portion of the line’s proceeds to support her Rhode Foundation, which in its early years hoped to support and help a thousand women through three different organizations.

Hailey also revealed that one of her early fashion inspirations was actually Hannah Montana.

“Yeah, technically I was very fashion-inspired by Hannah Montana aka Miley Cyrus at the time, too,” Hailey said. “She used to wear outfits on Hannah Montana that I tried to recreate because I thought they were just like everything else.”

Hailey said she was also inspired by her mother’s love of fashion and by supermodel icons like Kate Moss, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell.
