Gwyneth Paltrow scolds Ethan Hawke for SLOUCHING as she talks to Rihanna in flashback snaps

Gwyneth Paltrow told Ethan Hawke in a playful exchange after humorous photos of him chatting up with Rihanna in the wake of their stunning Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night resurfaced.

The 50-year-old Oscar winner jumped into the comments on Instagram Monday after Ethan shared photos from 2015 of chatting with 34-year-old Rihanna at the 64th NBA All-Star Game in New York City.

The photos, which have been making the rounds on social media for years, show the 52-year-old actor swapping places with his son Levon, now 21, to chat with the pop superstar.

But after reposting the pics, Gwyneth took the opportunity to rip her fellow actor for his bad attitude.

“Could you, for heaven’s sake, sit up straight? You’re sitting next to Rihanna!’ She joked in the replies.

The photos told a humorous story, as the first picture showed Levon sitting between Rihanna – who looked chic in an all-denim ensemble with mauve stilettos and hoop earrings – and his father.

But in the subsequent pictures, Levon seemed to have been pushed aside, and Ethan now claimed the middle seat next to Rihanna.

The Boyhood star, who had been leaning forward intensely as he chatted with his son, now leaned back in his chair as he chatted animatedly with the singer, as if trying to strike a cool, carefree pose.

Though he might be trying a little too hard to look relaxed, he and Rihanna both appeared to be having a good time as they chatted together.

“After Rihanna’s brilliant performance at halftime, I hope my son can find it in his heart to forgive a father for taking his moment,” he wrote in his caption, referring to fans who joked that he shot down his son’s chances of having a conversation with the music icon.

Several stars jumped into responses to show their approval of the photos.

“BEST PICTURE EVER,” gushed Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, while Poker Face star Natasha Lyonne showed her approval with three fire emojis.

Singer Cat Power added several crying and laughing emojis with a red heart, while Carla Gugino posted a similar set of emojis but with a flame to round them out.

Ironically, despite the song choices, Rihanna isn’t getting paid for her Super Bowl performance because she and previous halftime performers aren’t getting paid.

Chris Stapleton, who performed the Star-Spangled Banner, and Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph, who sang pre-game Lift Every Voice And Sing, also saw increases of 65 and 70 percent, respectively, when streaming on Spotify.
