A man was arrested this Friday (17) after killing six people in the city of Arkabutla, Mississippi. According to the information, the victims were attacked in various parts of the small country town with around 300 inhabitants.

According to El País, the gunman, whose identity has not been released, committed the first murder at a local supermarket. After the attack, the suspect began breaking into several homes where he made more victims.

Take County Police began a pursuit of the shooter that only ended when the suspect stopped the car in a home’s driveway. In this apartment, the agents not only found the fugitive, but also another body.

According to Take Police, the shooter is a resident of the town. The motive for the crime is still unknown to investigators.

In addition to the six dead, a seventh person was injured in the incident. There is no information about her state of health.
