With 29 wings, 3,200 members and seven allegories, the school is attempting the theme “Oh Zeca, where is the pagoda?” for the second time. to drink and to drum.” The honoree came as a highlight on the last car (see videos of the parade above).

During the parade, Grande Rio placed grand pianos and allegories that mainly represented the singer’s faith and history since he was a child in Irajá. The winged chariot “Him I want to thank: Jorge’s weapons, Ogum’s amulets” appeared more than 13 meters high and about 40 images of São Jorge.

Academicos do Grande Rio are trying for the second championship, betting on the emotions and popularity of Zeca Pagodinho.

The actress Monique Alfradique entered Alvorada, in homage to the feast of April 23 celebrating the saint (See photos from the parade above.).

Other wings brought further elements of Zeca’s beliefs, such as “In the Mandingas that we’t see: the old man and the cure”, with references to Oxum and Obaluaê, and the Bahian grandma “Grandma’s Candeeiro”, a homage to the terreiros of Congonha and the old Serrinha in Madureira.

The parade also had sections such as “Today is All Saints’ Day”, “Children’s Floor”, “Suburban Heaven”, which featured items from the singer’s childhood, such as sidewalks made of boogers, squares and dirt fields where he would go fly a kite, “Where are the sweets I want to eat?”, in homage to Cosme and Damião, and “Friend I never made to drink milk”

Queen of Drums, actress Paolla Oliveira wore the costume in honor of Ogum. At the end Zeca appeared in the car next to his wife Mônica “But I stay in Xerém because it’s good country: party in the backyard”.
