Because a year and a half ago she really enjoyed finding her audience temporarily for three nights to record a live album, Martine St-Clair has decided to do it again this winter for a full tour.

On Friday, the interpreter starts the Les Reunions tour. More than twenty dates are on the calendar and more performances are to be added.

“We really have a nice mix of styles and songs,” the singer says of this new tour of the track, directed by Robert Bellefeuille. We did a rhythmic medley. We have fun, it’s really fun. »

And the audience’s reaction to this new tour? “I don’t want to get carried away, but I find it positive. There are still a few tickets left, but I can see on social media that people are happy. They write me the songs they want to hear. »

Does Martine St-Clair see this show as a retrospective after a 40-year career? “It’s not how I feel, but it sure is. It’s a journey through four decades. It is obvious that we are going backwards. In addition to her many successes, Martine St-Clair will present a brand new track, Tot’Aime, to the public. The track was written by Lucien Francoeur and composed by Gilbert Montagné during the pandemic. It’s a canvas painted by Martine that inspired the song.

Also for her next studio album, which she wants to release next year, the performer wants to mix her painting – she has been painting for 20 years – with music. “Two songs are already done. I work with other employees,” she concludes.
