Gina Lollobrigida, the cardiologist, disowns her ex husband Rigau

The doctor says that at the time of death there was only one close friend, Rigau, who arrived an hour and a half later.

In case the need arises, another highly accredited rumor has surfaced showing that Mr. Francisco Javier Rigau, Gina Lollobrigida’s ex-husband, is not exactly a straight man. Mr Rigau claimed he rushed to the bed from Spain and saw Gina still alive and was happy to have arrived in time to say goodbye to his ex-wife.

Instead, we learn that Mr. Rigau arrived about an hour and a half after the death. I can hardly imagine him arguing with Gina at this point. And to say the least, not just anyone or his secretary Andrea Pezzolla, who is known to hate Rigau, but Prof. Francesco Ruggiero, general practitioner, cardiologist and friend of Gina Lollobrigida. This was revealed Wednesday afternoon in front of the microphones of La Vita in Diretta, the program hosted by Alberto Matano on Rai1.

The cardiologist continued: I mean that she died peacefully, she had actually been unconscious for at least a few days so luckily she didn’t notice the final death. I had to hold myself back for a number of health and administrative duties that fell to me as a doctor and cardiologist. Mr. Rigau arrived about an hour and a half after the death. I can hardly imagine him arguing with Gina at this point. At the exact moment (of death, editor’s note) there was only one close friend. Then the son came and then I, after about a quarter of an hour.

Rigau, who you see everywhere these days with the expression of a heartbroken widower, was present at the Capitol Funeral Home all day this Wednesday, instead he said: I arrived in time to see Gina alive. I’m happy, so are you. She was conscious. The same happened with son and grandson. You are at peace, quiet play, with the son, with the nephew and with me.
