Gb: BoJo writes bombshell autobiography, rich contract with publisher

(ANSA) — LONDON, JANUARY 16 — To repeat the global Guinness World Record success of rebellious Prince Harry’s explosive autobiography, ‘Spare,’ has — at least in the first few days of sale — seems an impossible feat to be. But even that of Boris Johnson could achieve an important result, according to the expectations of the publisher HarperCollins, which has just acquired the rights by recognizing former Prime Minister Tory following media rumors for a lucrative contract: a result that, in terms of the curiosity of the Awakening readers is expected to at least surpass that of the memoirs published by Downing Street’s previous tenants in recent years.

It will be a memoir told “like no other,” said Arabella Pike, editor of one of the HarperCollins series responsible for the publication. He recalls the Brexit architect’s intention to lay bare his turbulent three years at the helm with the panache that characterizes him: which began with election victory in 2019 and ended in the autumn of 2022 amid scandals and riots in the Conservative Party; but also shaped by epochal events such as the Covid pandemic or the war in Ukraine.
