Garbage singer Shirley Manson is currently in hospital after hip surgery. That didn’t stop the 56-year-old Scotswoman from humorously posting a rather hilarious photo of herself on her Instagram account to let her followers know her surgery went well.
The photo shows her lying in her hospital bed, her hands in the air and her face feigning horror (pretty funny with her pink hair). Garbage singer Shirley Manson made it a point to combine laughter and kind words to thank her admirers and friends for sending her kind thoughts during her recent surgery.
“Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who kept me in their thoughts and sent me healing messages yesterday,” she wrote. I enjoyed each of them so much. »
She takes the opportunity to acknowledge the talent of her “highly skilled and tough” surgeon and the team that took care of her during the procedure. She also explains that she is in “constant admiration for medicine and science,” which allowed her to design and implant this new hip that she was so good at.
