In the sweet wedding snaps, Jack cut a chic figure in gray trousers and a green shirt, which he styled with brown dress shoes.

The Irish-born star sported a trimmed mustache and styled her brunette locks in a slicked-back style for the special day.

Meanwhile, his bride Roisin looked glamorous in a pastel patterned pink and blue silk dress which she paired with a matching shawl.

The comedian styled her elegant ensemble with a pair of teal heels and kept her accessories simple with a dainty silver chain.

A small group of their loved ones sat behind them in the pews as they enjoyed their intimate wedding.

The newlyweds looked over the moon as they smiled from ear to ear in the beloved wedding photos.

Alongside the snaps, Father Lynch wrote, “Very simple, prayerful and dignified wedding ceremony for film stars Jason Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church.”

Describing what it was like to meet Jack, the priest added, “A very down to earth, simple and laid back person.”

Father Lynch elaborated further on the special day, adding: “It was an amazing celebration. Everyone was so relaxed. I will keep so many memories of this special day.

“This simple wedding ceremony was amazing because it was simple and the families got together to celebrate.”

Speaking to The Irish Independent, Father Lynch said the wedding was a “pre-wedding” as the couple plan to hold a second ceremony to mark their marriage in England.

He said the couple decided to hold a ceremony in County Kerry as they have been holidaying in Ballinskelligs, The Glen for many years and have “happy memories” there.

“Jack texted me this morning to say it was such a wonderful, touching ceremony and they went out to eat afterwards,” he said.

Speaking about his early retirement in 2014, he told Entertainment Weekly, “The answer is neither interesting nor long-winded. I’ve been acting since I was 8.

“I just stopped enjoying it like I used to. And now there’s the prospect of doing it for a living, whereas I’ve always done it for recreation with my friends or for fun in the summer.

‘I enjoyed it. When you make a living from something, it changes your relationship to it. It’s not that I hate it, it’s just not what I want to do.

But Jack has since appeared in BBC Two’s six-part comedy Out of Her Mind, written by Sara Pascoe, and will next appear in In The Land of Saints and Sinners.

The Netflix thriller was filmed in Co Donegal and Jack will star alongside the likes of Liam Neeson, Ciarán Hinds, Colm Meaney and Kerry Condon.
